I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The outstanding room, notified to reception, was perfect overall, but could use some TLC, particularly the mattress needing attention. The service, especially by Lauren, the Front Office Manager, was top-notch during dinner at the bar and breakfast. However, not ideal for romantic breaks as it seems more catered to business people. The location was convenient with a close bus stop to access Cork city easily, but late-night tile cleaning was a bit disruptive. The dining was a letdown, particularly with issues paying extra for breakfast and a disappointing dining room experience. Despite these setbacks, the hotel does have its positive points for various occasions.

The hotel offers spacious and tastefully decorated rooms that are very comfortable, providing great value for money. The breakfast and bar food are amazing, and the size of the rooms is huge. However, the cold and cheerless location is a downside.
